This is the list of camps who submitted a Placed Camp Questionnaire requesting placement in Black Rock City’s reserved sections for this year and want to be listed publicly.
These are the camps Placement is reviewing. Placement is announced in Early July.
To find camp locations when you’re at Burning Man, refer to the BRC Map & Guide distributed by Greeters, the theme camp maps and Directory at Playa Info, and Civic Kiosks in all the city plazas.
2018 Camps
Habitat for Insanity
Habitat for Insanity embraces the creation of novel burner technology and events. We’re a do-ocracy, meaning that although we do not assign tasks, we manage to accomplish a lot!
Hack-a-Cola
The Hack-a-Cola soda fountain serves up cold, delicious sodas in Black Rock City.
Hair of the Dog (HOTD)
HOTD is the longest continuously operating full service dive bar and live music venue on the playa.
You bring the booze and music and we provide the music and the booze.
Half-Ass
Camp Half-Ass is a group of fun loving individuals that has been bringing Peace, Love, and Laughter to the Playa since 2006. Come enjoy our GIANT MOANING SEE-SAW, infamous Bike Bar, Art Installations, and Beer Garden Parties.
Halls of Unjustice
Oyez! Oyez! Oyez! All perspective volunteers having disagreements and long-held personal grudges come to the Halls of Unjustice to be heard before the Unhonorable Halls of BRC. Halls of Unjustice will provide the setting, Referee, Mounty and Announcer to streamline the proceedings. Bring your defendant to settle your grumbles or you may have been cited to where you will be defending yourself.

Hammock Hangout
Hammock Hangout and Karaoke Lounge is a welcoming space for you to chill during the heat of the day, get cold beverages and sing your heart out at the Karaoke Lounge. The Karaoke Lounge is open every day, with the singing starting around 11am. The Hammock Hangout is open 24/8 as a public space to chill in.
Hang-Out, the
The hammock is an ancient technology: simple and perfect. Tension, elevation, motion. Harmony between ground and air. A dusty burrito drifting through the continuum. A great place to take a nap. Come ye unto the Hang Out.
Hanging Gardens of BRC
Hanging Gardens is an all-inclusive space – male, female, gay and straight – that celebrates the beauty of our interconnectedness, serendipity and of their intersection. Visiting The Hanging Gardens means opening yourself up to the possibilities of chance meetings and unexpected adventures.

Harmonic Convergence is an intimate, spiritually-focused, Burning Man camp. We will host the Harmonic Cafe…open 10 am – 2 pm Monday thru Friday…8 pm – 10 pm Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
HAVANA NIGHTS
Hosting a perpetual Cuban-themed sultry Havana Nights party, with a
laid-back Miami feel. Palm trees will surround the perimeter of a large
shaded, dance floor; comfortable, elevated chill pads available for guest to
relax. Rhythmic Cuban and energetic Latin beats will play in the background.

Healing Foot Wash, Life, Truth, Love: we are all about not only clean feet but world peace, community building, and healing. Hellfire Society is a place where people can come flow and learn from some of the most passionate fire artists in the world, all in one place! We will host numerous classes from fire flow to aerial and yoga throughout the day. We have plenty of hang out space and a bar. Getting some conclaves and other flow artists together in one big space is a great opportunity to collaborate on playa events such as fire parades throughout the city, and deep playa renegade spins. Hologon HQ
The Hologon HQ is home to a secret society of lucid dreamers. Visceral experiences will take place daily/nightly, along with master plotting of future geometry. Come by and say “Hollo!” and we will guide you to our energy portal in the playa, or just to get inspired. We’re always scheming art plans!
Home Sweet Dome
A chill space in the center of Hushville, shaded in the daytime, and lit up at night to provide an open space for conversaion. Charging of batteries for cell phones and cameras as well.
Homebrew 4A Homebrew
We are a daytime bar with cold home brewed beverages, games and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Enjoy a cold beer, cider, mead or soda served daily from 10am until after dark. We have a pool table and daily events including our Playa famous pickle party! Bring your keg and we will refrigerate and tap it, or bring a bottle to share.

Houpla is Houston’s largest theme camp and part of the Houston Burners non-profit organization. We specialize in bringing new burners to the playa each year and providing friendly, Texas-style hospitality.
