Mad Tea(se) Party is a circusy sound camp and interactive lounge. We offer Victorian era living room ambiance, nightly tea service, yoga/acroyoga workshops and more! Since 2019, Mad Tea(se) has hosted it’s flagship Wednesday evening Cabaret Show under its iconic, striped circus tent.
Magic Lantern Society
The Magic Lantern is a wandering inn, located at the end of all worlds. Sumptuously-appointed with antiques, curiosities, games, and mysterious old books, we are a space created for deeper human connection, and a warm and inviting sanctuary for the weary and curious traveller.
Our centerpiece is our unique Trading Booth, where stories and secrets are the only accepted currency. Anyone can step up to don our shopkeeper’s hat?we believe in erasing the boundaries between host and traveller.

MARA Camp invites you to experience Belarusian traditions of purification and connection.
Step into our Laznia and take part in a traditional steam bath ritual that cleanses body and spirit. Rooted in centuries-old practices, it is a space to reset, release, and begin anew. Herbal tea is served as part of the ritual experience.
In the afternoon, gather at our Draniki Station to enjoy freshly prepared Belarusian potato pancakes and connect through the simple act of sharing food.

Our camp provides on-playa counseling services, offering burners a space to process emotions, navigate conflicts, and reconnect with their experience in a meaningful way. In addition to one-on-one support, we create opportunities for self-guided reflection at out Zen Tent where you can journal, create art, and enjoy quiet contemplation. By blending therapeutic support with opportunities for introspection, our camp serves as a sanctuary for those seeking clarity, connection, and emotional renewal on the playa.
Mechanical Garden
From Wednesday to Saturday afternoons, we share iced mung bean and osmanthus sweet soup with anyone passing by, a traditional Chinese summer dessert meant to cool people down in the desert heat.
Red silk and playful mechanical flowers create a small garden space where people can wander, rest, and explore.
We also take casual portraits and sometimes gift Polaroid photos so visitors can leave with a small memory of the playa.
With shade, gentle music, and open hearts, we hope to create a little oasis where people can pause, connect, and share a joyful moment in the desert.
Media Mecca
Media Mecca is Black Rock City’s home to storytellers, journalists, and media. All media projects must register at Mecca prior to beginning in BRC.

Metal Detected
Calling all metalheads! Real metal is a rare find in the dust, so we built a stage for it to amalgamate. We provide the instruments and mics for anyone to meet up, plug in and jam, or scream through nightly karaoke. We host primal screaming and metal detecting events and welcome all genres and skill levels to keep the stage alive. Come metal detecting and leave as detected metal.
METAL MIMI Camp
Metal Mimi, the curious little creature who is our namesake, dwells at the Bay Area Metal Shop where Art Destined for the Playa is Born.
Metal Mimi is Witness to Art made Manifest and she is the Keeper of our Magical Dreams.
Metal Mimi Camp was created in honor of the Metal Workers, Welders, and Artists who desire to bring their Art to the Dust. Our mission is to help them.

Metamorphosis Energy Lab
An electric-powered mutant vehicle support camp dedicated to the art and science of energy transformation on the playa. Our fully solar-powered base of operations keeps our all electric mutant Vehicle (The Hungry Caterpillar) running day and night, ferrying participants across Black Rock City with zero emissions. We believe in the metamorphic power of radical technology, clean energy, and community. Find us by the hum of electric motors and the glow of solar panels.
MIDAS TEAR COLLECTIVE
Step into a welcoming French gathering space where conversations flow alongside French wine and cheese. Join us in building a collaborative geometric sculpture using Zometool, an evolving creation shaped collectively throughout the week. At sunrise, gather beneath The Tear of Midas for meditation, reflection, and community sharing circles. Relax, create, exchange ideas, and imagine new ways of living in harmony with the natural world through art, dialogue, and collective creativity.
A collection of flags will be hoisted — French, Brazilian, Norwegian, Argentine, Breton, United States, and a pirate flag — visible from the street, as a gesture of fraternity and peace, symbolizing that we stand together in unity.

Miki Beach is inspired from an array of beach lounges in Miami and the Caribbean, and mimicking these beach lounge vibes, we are striving to create an open, breezy, colorful environment to relax and have fun.
Miki Beach is your desert oasis so come celebrate with us at one of our playful parties, sip on one of our delectable libations, visit us for our Brazilian BBQ on Saturday or participate and become a winner on one of our silly activities such as the Miki Beach State Fair.

Mindseye Bonsai
We are a small art support camp of builders, artists, scientists, and dusty travelers from all over the world. Our mission is to bring sculpture to the playa and have a good time doing it. With 10 years of experience bringing art to Burning Man, we love sharing neuroscience-inspired art and curiosity with fellow dusty desert folks. Hailing from the sunny Mission District of San Francisco, we invite everyone to enjoy the dusty comforts of our playa outpost. Pull up a bar stool at Flanagan’s Pub – open day and night – for a refreshing beverage. Cozy up on one of our couches beneath the ample and breezy shade structure. Let loose on the dance floor. We’re a relaxed and fun-loving crowd from all over – San Francisco, Tahoe, Reno, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Boston, New York, Seattle, Portland, Ireland, Germany, Belgium and beyond. Often serving tunes and always serving drink, the Mission Country Club has been calling Black Rock City home since 2004.
Mist Connections
Misconnections is a tiny temple to bad timing, chaotic crushes, and emotional side quests. Stumble in, get aggressively misted, and accept an irresponsible amount of shave ice while you write anonymous notes to the hottie from the porta line, the stranger who rescued your bike, or the person you trauma?bonded with at sunrise.
Misters & Sisters
We are a fun daytime camp, offering two main activities, 1) overhead water misters, accessible all week from dawn to dusk, operated by staff or self-service, and, 2) a DIY Essential Oil body spray activity from noon to 3 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (with Friday as backup for bad weather). We have 26 different essential oils to choose from and will show you how to mix base, medium and top notes to create your own fragrance. Our oils are therapeutic grade. Give your senses a spa treatment!
Mo's Mini Martini + Erotica Camp
Mohammeds serves the coldest martinis and the hottest erotica on the playa. Come and join us for an ice cold martini in a REAL martini glass and, if the spirit moves you, write down your own true erotic tale in our 400 year old book filled with the daring do’s of other Black Rock Citizens. We open after lunch at 1:00pm and close when the camels go to bed, around 1:00am.
Mobility Camp
We offer Oh Shiny! Tours for anyone who wants to get out and explore the incredible art. We give priority to people with physical disabilities. We also provide crutches and wheelchairs for anyone who gets injured on the playa. Public charging station for Medical Equipment. Stop by and check out our obstacle course!
Molotov Cocktail
Our shaded bar/chill space offers welcome respite and comfort for the dusty and thirsty.
We will be bringing a variety of home brewed and concocted alcoholic beverages for the citizens of Black Rock City.

Mona Camp
Welcome to Mona Camp, where the spirit of caring, loving, and creativity thrives amidst the vast expanse of the playa. As part of the same community that brought you the Huge Mona Bunny in 2023, the enchanting Mona Mushroom in 2024, and the MONA DIE! DIE! DIE! burn in 2025. We are dedicated to spreading the Mona spirit far and wide.
We believe in the power of art to inspire, connect, and uplift souls. Our theme revolves around celebrating art, neuroscience, and diverse world cultures.
Monkey King Camp
A playful cultural playground on the Playa filled with DJ sets, music, interactive art, games, drinks, Asian inspired food gifting, and Monkey King energy.
Come explore our Dragon Pillars, catch live sets from DJs and artists on our stage, hang out in our lounge spaces, share tea, snacks, and good vibes, and jump into spontaneous moments of fun with fellow Burners.
By day and night, our camp is designed for discovery, connection, and mischief in the spirit of the Monkey King.
We are also developing the Monkey King Multiverse, an innovation project with map based camp information to help Burners find camps, connect with each other, and navigate Black Rock City more easily. Come recharge, dance, play, and be part of the adventure.
Moon Cheese
We still believe the moon is made out of cheese. That’s why we serve grilled cheese sandwiches throughout the week to the hungry citizens of Black Rock City. Stocked with all different types of bread & cheese and a range of sweet, spicy, tangy & juicy dipping sauces, we’re grilling under the stars to satisfy the cravings of all those dancing & adventuring at night.
Moon Landing
Moon Landing, a celestial outpost of creativity, exploration, and radical self-expression at Burning Man. Our camp is a launchpad for dreamers, builders, and cosmic wanderers?a space where art, technology, and human connection intersect in gravity-defying ways.
Inspired by the pioneering spirit of lunar exploration, we craft immersive experiences that transport participants beyond the ordinary. Whether it’s through interactive installations, mind-expanding discussions, or late-night moonwalks under the neon glow, Moon Landing invites you to step into the unknown and embrace the infinite possibilities of the playa.

Mostly in Tune is a participatory jam camp. Join the band, borrow an instrument, sing along, enjoy live band karaoke, perform spoken word over live backing tracks, or simply enjoy the music. No experience required.
Want to join a camp and actually make music? We’re looking for a drummer and keyboard player to complete our house band. (Until then, Roland is keeping the beat.)
Weather permitting, our jam sessions are captured with professional multitrack audio and video, then mixed after the Burn. Featured artists who share their contact information can request copies of their recordings and opt out of social media featuring their performances.

Mural Maze Art Support Camp is a collaborative space supporting a group of muralists creating a large scale installation on playa.
MUSE (Maenad University)
The Maenad University for the Study of the Esoteric (M.U.S.E.) is a tribute to the deity Dionyus and offers a temple space for offerings as well as for our interactivity which ranges from spiritual to silly. We offer a 24 hour labyrinth for visitors to use as well as a kiosk which will host a variety of camp run and visitor run interactivity. We are a very welcoming group and you are free to say hi and chat with us when we are out and about.
MUSE Café
MUSE is a nod, a wink, a slap on the bum. It is a toast to the muse in you and the muse in me. It’s booty shaking praise and it’s champagne smiles. It is a place where we can embrace both the funky and meaningful. Our goal is to honor & celebrate the inspiration in every human being. We create a space and curate events that ignite the playful & seductive spirit of the muse. Our mission is to honor the muses among us and within us. To seek, offer, and discover inspiration in both the obvious and the peculiar places. Are you looking for a place to kick up your dusty boots or maybe somewhere to warm up during the cold night? At Mutant Ninja Burners when you cross our sewer rat picket fence you’re one of us! Don a headband, dance and groove to some wubs. Learn some sick nunchuck skillz. Warm yourself by the fire pits. You’ll be rewarded with friendship, acceptance and a hot slice of pizza if you come by during one of our wubby, dubby pizza parties. Cowabunga!

BY NIGHT: Lose yourself in fire dancers, visionary musicians, and boundary-pushing artists at our new Monday Night Celebration Party and legendary Truth & Beauty Wednesday Night Party.

Mystikal Misfits
This year the Mystical Misfits celebrate 23 years on Playa.
We will be providing the beautiful Narwhal as a stationary stage for Performances, DJs, and a shaded rest spot for Burners.
We plan to have Daily events on the Narwhal during the day and evening.
We will also have a Bar. Seeing refreshments to Participate everyday at Happy Hour. They will also have DJs scheduled everyday.
This year we will also have a “Chill Out” dome for Participants to get out of the weather and just chill.
Mystopia
Step out of the sun-scorched wonderland into our cool haven. It’s an icy oasis, an ice cream paradise, and a sanctuary for all.
